We have been ask so many times to host another Downton Abbey Tea and with the release of the new movie this September we decided to do exactly that.

This will be the most indelgent tea that we have ever hosted at Sweet Peas. Prepare to step back in time as you are greeted and escorted by footmen to the parlour of the Duke and Dutchess of Grantham. From here you will be led into the  Downton dining room to the sound of bagpipes and seated at the banquet table in preparation for the seven course High Tea that will follow. Delight in foods prepared from authentic Edwardian and early 20th century recipes, all homemade especially for the ocassion. Be served by our parlour maids and footmen as you enjoy this decadent meal. 

Please dress in your best Edwardian or roaring 20's costumes. Pick a charachter from the Crawleys, or a favorite servant and add to the embiance of the event. Whilst this is not mandatory, we will be awarding a prize for the best costume of the day.

Due to the nature of this Tea we have imposed an age limit of 12 years and older.

Halloween is always a very popular tea at Sweet Peas and this year we are hoping to up our game with a Halloween Extraviganza.

So come and join us for a spine chilling, totally thrilling Afternoon Tea themed to everything "wicked"

You begin with a cup of hot soup, followed by a three tier server full of spell binding treats. All this is accompanied by a bottomless pot of tea brewed by our resident witches. Yes, please dress up in your best Halloween costume to add to the fun and character of this tea. Please remember you have your tabe for two hours.

Its Open House time at Sweet Peas and we invite you to come and join us as we kick of the holiday season with a gift shop full of goodies and a wonderful Afternoon Tea to accompany your shopping spree.

As usual we wil have all of our holiday gifts, teas and new seasonal clothes and jewelry in the boutique, plus lots of new and exciting gift ideas for all. Shopping wears you out so reserve a spot for a lovely Afternoon Tea full of holiday treats to help you along your way. This four course tea will consist of Soup, Sandwiches, Savories, scones, preserves and clotted cream and delicious desserts all homemade and ready for you to enjoy. Dont lets forget the bottomless pot of tea to accompany the delicacies.

COST PER PERSON....$28.00.....Reservations are needed to dine but not to shop.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30TH.....11AM TO 5PM

After the hussle and bussle of cooking the Thanksgiving dinner and hurrying out early for Black Friday shopping come on in for a treat and some respite and enjoy our Fall themed Afternoon Tea.

You will enjoy a delicious four course tea begining with your cup of our special homemade pumpkin soup. This will be followed by a three tier server of Sandwiches, savories, scones preserves and clotted cream and some pretty tasty little desserts. All this with a bottomless pot of tea will complete thi little escape from the world.

Due to the popularity of this event in previous years we have decided to offer two seatings this year.

Once again Santa will come and visit us at the tea room to enjoy a really special tea with the kiddies. This event is all about the children and so the tea will be themed to this. Cute desserts, savories and sandwiches that will pease that jolly old elf and all the little ones as well as the grown ups.

Each child will be encouraged to participate in some fun games and all will receive a personal gift from Santas sack. There will also be an oppertunity for everyone to take pictures of their children with Santa .

Join us for a most romantic and seasonal evenig taking tea by candle light. Enjoy sweet sounds of the season as you are served course after course of traditional homemade English Christmas treats and wonderful tea in your bottomless teapot. This tea is so very popular and we encourage you to make your reservations early as it fills extremly fast and has become a family tradition for many of our customers.
